Dear Parents,
As you may know, on July 21st the Minister of Education confirmed we would be going ahead with Scenario 1. This scenario provides for a return to in-person learning with additional conditions, including those of enhanced health and safety measures.
Elk Island Catholic School District released re-entry plans on August 5th. These plans, as well as a message from Superintendent Shawn Haggarty, can be found on the EICS website. We know that you will have many questions regarding re-entry and we will continue to share information over the next few weeks so that you fully understand what the school routine will look like at École OLPH. For example, later in August, we will be sharing a video featuring staff that will show your child some of the procedures we will be putting in place for when they return to school.
We ask for your patience as we navigate this new context. There are many different factors at play and we want to carefully develop a plan that allows for the safe re-entry of all members of our school community.
We are looking forward to welcoming your children at the start of the school year,
École OLPH Staff
