Chromebook Leasing Program

As per our email to parents April 21, 2017....

With the successful implementation of the One to One technology program, EICS is excited to enter into the next phase of the initiative.

During Phase 2,  we will continue the leasing program for those who have participated in the 2016/17 program.

To lease for the entire year, it will be $65 per student (added to student's school fees) unless you would like to buy-out your currently leased chromebook for $120 (added to student's school fees).

If you would like to continue with the leasing program or buyout your current Chromebook, please indicate so on Powerschool (PowerSchool Parent Portal) by Friday,  May 19th, 2017.  Students who will continue leasing their Chromebooks for 2017-2018 will be required to return them to the school (with their chargers) prior to the end of June.  These Chromebooks will be returned to them upon their return in the fall.  Only purchased Chromebooks can be kept over the summer.  Please note, that grade 8 students who choose to continue with the leasing program will receive a Chromebook from ABJ in the fall.

If you choose to not renew your lease or purchase your currently leased Chromebook, you are responsible to provide your own device at the beginning of the school year.

As well this year, we will continue to work with Staples for the 2017-2018 school year to provide options for purchasing your own device which includes full technology support.  We were successful in partnering with Staples to create practical and very affordable support packages to support students and parents with their technological needs. We are renewing this partnership due to the success of it from the 2016-2017 school year.  They were able to help familiarize users with their device, troubleshoot issues, as well as provide IT support.
